Scholarships

Joe Ann Clifton Student Award
"The award is presented to a library science student who has submitted an outstanding paper regarding the use of information technology. The award includes student membership in SLA for one year, a travel stipend to attend the SLA Annual Conference, and publication of their article in the Division’s bulletin."

Roger K. Summit Scholarship
"The Roger K. Summit Scholarship, awarded annually by ProQuest, was established to honor Dr. Roger K. Summit, the founder of Dialog, a ProQuest business, for his outstanding contributions to the field of information science. The scholarship is open to all LIS students worldwide. The award is the equivalent of US $5,000 and is presented at the Special Libraries Association (SLA) Annual Conference or at a regional location in proximity to the winner."
